Application sectors and
product comparison

Newtecnik’s DAGS magnetic fork covers and bumpers are used across a wide range of industrial and logistics sectors. This page brings together the main application areas and compares the technical specifications of all models, to help you choose the DAGS that best suits your needs.

Where DAGS devices are used

DAGS was born for integrated logistics, transport and industry, but its versatility makes it effective in any context where goods are moved with metal forks. From warehouses to production lines, from loading bays to construction sites and cold stores, wherever there is a forklift, a manual or electric pallet truck, a stacker, a telehandler, an agricultural tractor or a site crane with forks, there is a DAGS application that improves load stability and workplace safety.

DAGS sector
01

Manufacturing, metalworking, carpentry, window and door production, furniture, surface finishing

Sheets, tubes, bars, plates and components in iron, stainless steel, aluminium, or wood panels, whether they are raw, painted or coated, require protection when transported in direct contact with forklift or pallet truck forks. DAGS is compatible with all metal fork equipment and, by placing a rubber surface between the products and the forks, prevents scratches, contamination and slipping.

DAGS sector
02

Automotive and components

Painted components, technical plastics and metal or aluminium mechanical parts cannot tolerate scratches. DAGS protects sensitive surfaces and prevents damages during in-plant logistics, avoiding costly return campaigns if damaged products reach the end customer.

DAGS sector
03

Railway yards, naval yards and outdoor

Railway and naval yards use forklifts with forks up to 4 metres for transporting highly unstable loads. DAGS improves load grip on the forks even on uneven surfaces, with no reduction on the weight that can be carried.

DAGS sector
04

Agriculture and outdoor

Tractors with forks, telehandlers and outdoor equipment, carrying goods in rigid plastic or metal containers, or with flexible containers (big bags), often operates in extreme conditions. DAGS is designed to work from −25°C to +80°C, withstanding the harshest environments.

DAGS sector
05

Construction and building materials

Concrete products, glass sheets, insulation panels and heavy or fragile materials are moved with telehandlers, site cranes and tractors with forks. DAGS protects the material, stabilises bulky loads and improves safety on site and in warehouses, with no load capacity reduction.

DAGS sector
06

Food & Beverage

Crates, baskets and containers are particularly sensitive to vibration due to uneven floors and to impacts. DAGS and DAGS-Bumpers add a shock-absorbing surface that reduces vibrations during handling.

DAGS sector
07

Pharmaceutical, chemical and cosmetics

Environments with high cleanliness requirements usually with resin-coated floors for the production areas or warehouses, need to be protected against marks. DAGS No Marking is the ideal solution for delicate surfaces.

DAGS sector
08

Logistics and warehousing

In warehouses and distribution centres, continuous movement of pallets and parcels exposes goods to slipping and tipping that can cause damages. DAGS reduces damages during handling, preventing customer complaints.

DAGS sector
09

Large-scale retail and distribution

Distribution centres handle a wide variety of packaged goods, some with delicate primary packaging such as glass and cans. DAGS protects packaging from breakage caused by micro-impacts and vibrations, ensures load stability during movement and improves workplace safety.

Handling goods in containers or loose

DAGS is useful whether products are transported in containers or carried loose directly on the forks — as is the case with large or oversized products.

In Containers

When goods are transported in metal or plastic containers, wire-mesh containers, IBC, FIBC, metal or plastic pallets, DAGS prevent them from sliding, tipping or falling off the forks — avoiding damage to the goods and potential safety hazards for operators.

Loose Products

When goods are carried directly on the forks, DAGS prevents surface scratches, damages and contamination, avoiding costly reworking, cleaning operations or return claims from dissatisfied customers.

Compatible with any fork-equipped vehicle

DAGS fit all vehicles equipped with metal forks. The magnetic grip requires no structural modifications and does not alter the technical specifications of the forks.

Technical comparison of all DAGS models

All DAGS devices are patented and share the same three-layer structure (rubber / steel / magnet), installation concept without bolts or tools. Differences concern the rubber specifications, the product thickness and the optimal use case.
